Haystack Mountain Goat Dairy began in 1989 when Jim Schott began raising goats on his farm just south of Haystack Mountain and a little east of Boulder, Colorado.

Today, Haystack Mountain is recognized as one of the premier producer of goat milk cheeses. We produce three raw milk cheeses and a variety of fresh cheeses -- from plain and flavored Chevre logs to soft-ripened bloomy rind cheeses.

Our cheeses have won many awards from the American Cheese Society and the World Cheese Awards.
